It's all of a whopping 13 degrees this morning...sunny and bitterly cold. I have places I need to go and stuff around the house that needs to be done but at the moment, I haven't the motivation to do any of it. So here I sit...watching the birds out the window. They're scrambling around the newly filled feeders...looking all 'fluffed' up and strangely round. Unfortunately, I seem to be feeding those nasty Starlings too. They come in huge flocks and rudely 'take' over the entire backyard. They bully all the other polite and more interesting birds. I switched out one of the feeders to safflower as I was told they don't like it. But at this point, in the dead of January, I'm sure they'll eat anything.
Anyway...guess it's time to pull myself outta this comfy seat and start in on the enormous pile of laundry that always seems to be waiting for me! Ciao for now...
