Well, we ended up with a little bit of snow but nothing to get too excited about...as usual. We've lived here in Illinois for 5 years and have had maybe 2 or 3 'good' snows...my 9 year old has given up on ever being able to make another snowman or go sledding. Poor thing. As a kid growing up in Missouri, it seemed that every Winter brought tons of snow and I was always in the middle of it. We lived in the country and had the MOST amazing sledding hill. I've been up and down that hill a million times...usually with a friend on my back. Of course we'd end up crashing into the ditch and would have to run home to mend our bumps and bruises...but we were out again in no time, with bellies full of hot cocoa.
Ahhh well... I guess I shouldn't count Winter out quite yet...especially since it's only February. Maybe that 'good' snow is still a comin'.
