It's a beautiful Saturday morning...frigid (of course) but the sun is shinin' and the skies are a brilliant blue! It's amazing how my spirits lift when we have a sunny day. So...I did find a new vacuum last night...and since I bought it at the BX (Base Exchange), I didn't have to pay sales tax. ALWAYS a good thing! Here it is:

So far, I like it and I LOVE that fact that the unit detaches so that you can hold it while you're vacuuming ceiling cobwebs. I also love that its red...meaningless, I know, as the color is of no 'use' whatsoever, but hey, red always makes me happy! And I may as well LIKE looking at my vacuum, right? *lol*

After I purchased the vacuum, I ran to our new Red Robin to grab some dinner and was surprised to see fire fighters putting out a fire at the Pasta House restaurant. I drove up closer to get a better look and realized that the entire business was gone. Thankfully, all the customers and staff made it out but apparently, it was quite a close call as the restaurant was full. On the 9 o' clock news, they reported that the fire had started in the attic and had been smouldering for quite some time. Scary.

Well I'm off to shower and take the kiddos to the library. Ya'll have a great weekend and stay warm!

Neat vacuum! :) Come to think of it, my vac is red too, dark red. That's pretty cool the way the My daughter and I visited the Red Robin website and had fun with the Burgerizer. What's your favorite burger? We also found out that we have a Red Robin in Valparaiso, IN, where we go to shop. Thank goodness everyone got out of the restaurant safely! We looked at the pics and it was quite a blaze.

Oops! I was watching the end of Rome on HBO and I accidentally left off part of the comment. It's pretty cool the way the unit detaches. :)
