Finally Friday...

A quiet Friday so far and absolutely nuttin' exciting to blog about. I guess the highpoint of my day will be buying a new vacuum this afternoon. Smoked the motor on my Hoover this morning and stunk the whole house up...I have NO luck with vacuum cleaners! Hubby tells me that I vacuum TOO much and wear 'em out. Whatever!

Hope ya'll have a super weekend! I'm off to straighten up the kitchen...what an exciting life I lead!

Hi Linnie, being you asked...The English three season series showed on PBS in the late 1980's. Synopsis: The sheltered Eliott sisters, Beatrice and Evangeline (Stella Gonnett, Louise Lombard), suddenly find themselves alone and penniless when their dodgy father dies. In response, Bea and Evie launch an ambitious dressmaking business in the heart of 1920s London. The BBC's lavishly costumed Jazz Age drama follows the plucky pair as they navigate the city's swirling social scene. It was written by Jean Marsh who also wrote the great English 'Upstairs, Downstairs' 11 year series which I think everyone heard of. ~Hugs~
